Client Objective
Doing Good Digital worked with Richstone Family Center to develop a Giving Tuesday and end-of-year strategy that would focus on their branded angel campaign.
While Giving Tuesday is internationally recognized as a day of giving, we decided to use this as an engagement opportunity with donors in order to be more aggressive with fundraising language during year end.

Giving Tuesday Stewardship
In order to stand out during the heavy promotion of Giving Tuesday, we used this time as an opportunity to steward donors without a direct fundraising ask.
Leading up to and during Giving Tuesday, donors were provided a first look at the newly released Annual Report, as well as a free download of recipes inspired by the center’s community garden.
End-of-Year Appeals
Using Giving Tuesday as a stewardship opportunity gave us the opening to be a bit more aggressive with our end-of-year fundraising messaging.
With the release of the Annual Report, we were able to reference the most recent impact that the organization had made in their community and how donors could make a further impact.

The Results
Without explicitly asking for donations during Giving Tuesday, Richstone Family Center received a few gifts on this designated day of giving.
Our overall strategy of stewarding donors during Giving Tuesday in order to be more aggressive in end-of-year fundraising efforts, generated an 18.75% increase in average gift year-over-year.
