Children's Hospital Los Angeles Donation Form Redesign
Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) wanted to optimize and refresh its existing donation forms on Blackbaud Luminate Online®. The goal was to improve the donor experience with modern, user-friendly templates, ensure clean and efficient code, and implement best practices.

Our Solution:
Strategic Design Enhancements
We developed three distinct donation form templates tailored to CHLA's fundraising needs, including a general donation form, a Giving Tuesday campaign form, and a List-building form. Each design focused on improving usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. Ensuring a seamless and intuitive donation process, while also incorporating special features such as a thermometer and social share.
Best Practices and Code Optimization
The donation forms were built with clean, efficient code to enhance performance and maintainability. We incorporated industry best practices such as streamlined user flows, clear call-to-action buttons, and responsiveness.
Comprehensive Quality Assurance and Project Management
Throughout the project, we provided ongoing quality assurance and strategic guidance, ensuring that all donation forms met CHLA’s expectations. Regular testing was conducted to confirm compatibility across different devices and browsers, guaranteeing a seamless donor experience.
Training and Documentation
To empower CHLA’s internal team, we provided thorough training and documentation on maintaining and leveraging the new templates. This included best practices for customization, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization to keep the donation forms performing at their best.

Ready to refresh your donation forms and boost conversions? Let’s talk about how we can help!
- Richstone Family Center wanted to develop a new lead magnet to support their Meta acquisition campaigns. The goal was to create something that would resonate with parents and caregivers, reflect Richstone’s mission of strengthening families, and be quick and cost-effective to produce.
- Ovarian Cancer Canada set out to modernize their online fundraising experience to better support donor intent, particularly around tribute giving. As part of this effort, they selected Fundraise Up as their new donation platform to reduce friction, improve personalization, and create a more seamless giving experience.
- International Medical Corps (IMC) has the goal of growing their recurring giving program. As an organization that responds to emergencies around the world, having a strong base of recurring donors helps them plan ahead, act quickly, and maintain support even when the news cycle shifts. They knew there were donors in their database who would likely say yes to a monthly gift—they just needed a better way to find them and communicate with them.
