Enhanced Fundraising with Nuclavis for Parkinson’s Foundation
The Parkinson’s Foundation was seeking a dynamic mobile solution to enhance their peer-to-peer fundraising events and turned to Nuclavis to meet their needs. With a goal to empower participants through a streamlined mobile experience, the Foundation chose to develop a Nuclavis-powered mobile app, FundraiseforParkinsons. Along with the app, they chose to implement components of the app directly into their Blackbaud TeamRaiser Participant Center to empower all participants to raise more with mobile-first fundraising tools.
To bring this integration to life, Doing Good Digital implemented the Nuclavis “Social Component” code seamlessly within the event Participant Center, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience for fundraisers. Mirroring Nuclavis native app functionality, all participants (app users and non-app users alike) were equipped with mobile-first tools to share their campaigns via text, email, social media, and QR codes—helping them reach more donors and raise more funds.

Our Solution

Mobile Experience
To further promote the mobile experience for Parkinson’s Foundation fundraisers, Doing Good Digital recently implemented a strategic update to the Blackbaud TeamRaiser Participant Center. This update was designed to streamline access to the FundraiseforParkinsons app and make it easier for participants to access their Parkinson’s Foundation fundraising tools from anywhere.
Lightbox
One of the key improvements was the addition of a lightbox feature that prompts users to download the Nuclavis-powered app. This lightbox appears in a user-friendly overlay, drawing immediate attention without disrupting the participant’s workflow. It includes direct links to get the app in the Apple App Store and Google Play, ensuring that fundraisers can easily access the appropriate version of the app for their device.

Social Components
Doing Good Digital also embedded Nuclavis’ “Social Components,” directly into the Participant Center. The components consist of an easy-to-share fundraising + team page QR code and pre-written messages that can quickly be shared via text message, email, or social media along with a link to donate. These components allow users to quickly and easily access the contacts in their phone and communicate with friends, family, and followers through their favorite messaging app or social media platform. By combining these enhancements, Doing Good Digital helped the Parkinson’s Foundation create a more modern, intuitive, and action-oriented experience that empowers fundraisers to promote their campaigns and connect with supporters more effectively.
